About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Marine Underwriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will evaluate marine insurance proposals, assess risk exposures, and ensure all underwriting processes adhere to company guidelines and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and underwrite Marine Insurance proposals in accordance with company guidelines.

• Assess risk exposures, analyze documentation, and determine appropriate premiums and coverage terms.

• Review and process renewals, endorsements, and claims-related documentation when required.

• Coordinate with brokers, agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution.

• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with compliance and regulatory standards.

• Monitor market trends and provide recommendations to enhance underwriting processes and efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Underwriting / Marine Insurance experience

• Strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills

• 2–3 years of experience in a related field

• Excellent communication skills:

  • English: Fluent in both oral and written

  • Hindi: Proficient
